PLATIO and Wienerberger have entered into a strategic partnership, through which solar pavement systems will debut in German building material market.
The collaboration between the innovative Hungarian startup PLATIO and the leading Austrian building material manufacturer and distributor Wienerberger not only opens new horizons for PLATIO’s international recognition but also for the world of sustainable construction. As part of the partnership, Wienerberger will expand its Penter paving product line with walkable solar pavements developed by PLATIO, which will be marketed under the name Penter Platio. These revolutionary pavements, which convert solar energy into electricity, will soon be available in Germany.
The PLATIO Solar Paver is much more than just a walkable solar panel; it is a sustainable building material that enables the production of renewable energy in places where traditional solar technologies cannot be used, such as driveways, walkways, or public spaces.
This unique building material represents a new generation of green construction solutions. PLATIO Solar products are now available in more than 20 countries and have received numerous accolades, including the „Most Innovative Product of Ecoindustry” award, which was won at Central Europe’s Green Exhibition and Conference.
