New Country Manager at IBM Hungary

IBM Hungary’s current country manager, Péter Rehus was appointed in a regional management position. He is replaced by another IBM manager, Árpád Pikethy.

 

Péter Rehus, IBM’s current country manager, has been appointed Partner Ecosystem Leader of IBM Central Eastern Europe and Central Asia territory.

In this role, he will be responsible for implementing and executing IBM’s sales strategy through partners. His responsibilities will include enhancing relationships with partners (resellers, distributors, system integrators, technology partners and service providers), identifying new growth opportunities, and increasing the value creation capability of the regional ecosystem. Strong development of the partner ecosystem is one of IBM’s three strategic priorities, alongside hybrid cloud/AI and technology innovation.

The region includes Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, the Western Balkans, Romania, Moldova and Central Asia, among others.

Peter Rehus has been with IBM since his graduation in 1991. Over the past three decades, he has held various positions in Hungary and in the region, and has been the company’s country manager for Hungary since January 2017.

Árpád Pikethy takes over the position of country manager for Hungary. He has been with IBM Hungary since August 2003. He has worked in various technology sales positions, and for the last three years he has been leading the technology partner sales area.
